Transferring tickets and refunding tickets is an action that our call center and our guests do very often. Things come up and that requires a guest to relocate the date/time of a cruise. Since launch we always had the functionality to do transfers, as long as the price is equivalent. We have now given additional flexibility within the system to allow doing a transfer with an Upcharge or a Refund. This means that if you are transferring from a weekday cruise to a more expensive weekend cruise we will only charge the difference and in fact we will do it with the card on file if the guest requests. This reduces the friction and time to ask for the credit card info. If the guest is going from a weekend cruise to a weekday then we refund the difference to the original payment method.
